Cationic Rapid Set: Products: Anionic Emulsions: Products: Cationic Rapid Set: VSS Emultech® CRS-1 and 1h: Back to top Description: CRS-1 is a high performance cationic rapid set emulsion made with a standard 120-150pen binder. CRS-2h is made with an AR 2000. They both meet specifications set out in ASTM D2397 and Caltrans section 94 table 2. Both have a minimum binder content of 60%. Uses: VSS Emultech® CRS-1 and 2h are suitable for patching and will operate with all injection patching machines. Both may be sprayed at ambient temperatures so may be used as tack coat or for sand seals and chip seals. For colder climates CRS-1h is indicated, for hotter conditions CRS-2h is indicated. Application: VSS Emultech® CRS-1 and 2h may be poured or sprayed with standard air and airless spray equipment. Both may be sprayed using conventional boot trucks and swirl or slot jets. Thermal susceptibility is reduced making seals with a greater performance range from sub zero to elevated temperatures. Application: VSS Emultech® PMCRS-2 and 2h may be sprayed using conventional boot trucks and swirl or slot jets. Availability: Bulk.
